Carvedilol is a non-selective beta-blocker used to treat heart failure, high blood pressure, and to improve survival after a heart attack. It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate, improving the heart’s ability to pump blood.

Dosage and Administration
● Heart Failure: Start with 3.125 mg twice daily, increased gradually to a maximum of 25-50 mg twice daily.
● Hypertension: 6.25 mg to 25 mg orally, twice daily.
Carvedilol is available in oral tablet form.
